A two-day Photography Exhibition will take place on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 September, at 11:00 am, at the Municipal Camping Golden Beach in Skala Panagias, in Thassos, as part of the implementation of the project with title “Initiative for improving the capacity and accessibility of tourism destinations in the cross border area” and acronym “Destinations for all“, of the Cooperation Programme INTERREG VA “Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020”, in which the Municipality of Thassos (GR) participates with the Municipality of Garmen (BG).
The aim of this action is the development of tourism for people with disabilities and the awareness of the public on accessibility issues for the disabled people in a series of activities related to tourism, recreational, cultural, archaeological or sports activities. This two-day cultural event-photography exhibition is going to host exhibits by Mr. Ivajlo Tahirov, Bulgarian Exhibitor-Photographer (1st day), Mr. Nikolaos Karanikolas and Mr. Nikolaos Sideris, Greek Exhibitors-Photographers (2nd day). The exhibition in entitled “Tourism for all” and its ultimate goal is to contribute to the creation of a healthy society that integrates people with disabilities, as members with equal rights to dignity, independence and active participation in the society.

Μια διήμερη Έκθεση Φωτογραφίας πρόκειται να λάβει χώρα την Πέμπτη 23 και την Παρασκευή 24 Σεπτέμβρη, ώρα 11:00 πμ, στο Δημοτικό Κάμπινγκ Golden Beach στην Σκάλα Παναγιάς Θάσου, στο πλαίσιο υλοποίησηρ του έργου Initiative for improving the capacity and accessibility of tourism destinations in the cross border area” και ακρωνύμιο “Destinations for all”, του Προγράμματος Συνεργασίας INTERREG VA «Ελλάδα –Βουλγαρία 2014-2020», στο οποίο συμμετέχει ο Δήμος Θάσου με επικεφαλής δικαιούχο το Δήμο Garmen της Βουλγαρίας.
Στόχος της δράσης αυτής είναι η ανάπτυξη του τουρισμού για τα άτομα με αναπηρία και η ευαισθητοποίηση του κοινού σε θέματα προσβασιμότητας ΑμεΑ σε μια σειρά δραστηριοτήτων σχετικών με τον τουρισμό, σε χώρους αναψυχής, πολιτιστικούς, αρχαιολογικούς ή αθλητικούς. Η εν λόγω διήμερη πολιτιστική εκδήλωση- έκθεση ζωγραφικής πρόκειται να φιλοξενήσει εκθέματα του κ. Ivajlo Tahirov, Βούλγαρος Εκθέτης-Φωτογράφος (1η ημέρα) και των κυρίων Νικολάου Καρανικόλα και Νικολάου Σιδέρη, Ελλήνων Εκθετών-Φωτογράφων (2η ημέρα), με θέμα «Τουρισμός για όλους». Τελικός σκοπός της έκθεσης είναι να συμβάλει στη δημιουργία μιας υγιούς κοινωνίας που ενσωματώνει τα άτομα με αναπηρία, ως μέλη με ίσα δικαιώματα στην αξιοπρέπεια, την ανεξαρτησία και την ενεργή συμμετοχή στο κοινωνικό γίγνεσθαι.
