Hungary and Croatia share some of the most beautiful river areas in Europe, including those that are part of the cross-border biosphere reserve Mura-Drava-Danube and it is the responsibility of the local institutions and communities to take care of these invaluable natural heritage sites.
Project partners of MonMur project have come together in nature conservation and water preservation efforts and carried out a number of joint activities to monitor the surface and underground water in Medimurje and Zala counties and will present the findings in a joint conference focusing on the water quality monitoring and water protection.
