“Podravski motivi” the largest open-air naive art fair, will be held on the 2nd and 3rd of October 2021 and visitors will be able to enjoy the many cultural, historical and entertainment facilities of the city of Koprivnica and the entire Podravina region during which the traditional wine production, grape growing and wine storage will be presented.

During the whole weekend wine producers and distributers of Croatian and Hungarian wine will present the procedures of collecting grapes and producing wines according to fall customs from the Podravina and Pomurje regions (regions next to the Drava and Mura rivers). Some of the best producers and producer companies will gather on Koprivnica’s main square, along the city park and be included in an event, revolving around workshops and focusing on local wines, inviting the locals and visitors from the region and beyond to share and enjoy the treasures of these two wine-making regions.

Alongside the event, an exhibition presenting one of the most significant historical vineyard houses (“klet”) in Podravina, the one where the famous poet Fran Galović wrote some of his best poems will be open to public. The exhibition can be visited in the Koprivnica Town Museum, The Gallery Koprivnica, until 10 October.
