The infrastructure, building, information systems, and fluoroscope equipment of the Vartius Border Crossing Point were improved in a Karelia CBC-funded project that was finalised in August 2021.
On Friday 8th October you will have a chance to join an excursion to Vartius Border Crossing Point and see the improvements made. The excursion begins from Kajaani at 11 AM.
